Privacy

Short version: we keep as little as the directory needs, and you can switch location sharing off at any time.

Browsing

You can browse QuickBy without an account. If your browser shares your rough location, it's used on your device to sort the stalls nearest you — it isn't stored against your visit.

Live locations

A vendor's spot is shared only while they have the switch on, and only the most recent location is kept. There is no trail of where a stall has been: turning sharing off clears them from the map, and the old coordinates aren't kept as a history.

Stall pages

If you list a stall we store what you type in — name, description, menu, prices, schedule, spot notes and the photos you upload. That's all public on your stall page, so don't put anything there you'd rather keep private.

Your account and the digest

An account stores your email address and the stall it belongs to. If you sign up for the weekly digest we keep that email address and a token so the unsubscribe link works. Every digest has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing doesn't touch your account.

The feedback board

Posts on the board are public. A name is optional — leave it blank and the post is anonymous. We keep the message and the reaction counts.

Counts and analytics

We count how many times a stall page is opened and how often each dish is tapped, so vendors can see what people are interested in. Those are numbers only — no names, no profiles. If the site owner has switched on Google Analytics, it's used to see which pages get opened in aggregate.

Your data

We don't sell your data. You can ask us to delete your stall, your account, or a digest signup at any time — post on the feedback board or reply to any digest email and we'll take it from there.
